Mallfront Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 23/07/2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Mallfront ("Mallfront," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by 3nitysoft, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform. This policy is aligned with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.

Mallfront is a social media-native storefront platform that allows Merchants to showcase and sell products or services, with orders routed to Merchants via WhatsApp. We are not a party to transactions between Merchants and buyers.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

  • Merchants — businesses who sign up to create a storefront on Mallfront.
  • Buyers/Visitors — individuals who browse Merchant storefronts and place orders directly with Merchants via WhatsApp.

Because orders and payments happen directly between Merchants and buyers via WhatsApp, Mallfront collects very limited data about buyers. Most of the personal data we process belongs to Merchants.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 From Merchants

When a business signs up and operates a storefront, we may collect:

  • Business name, contact person, phone number, email address
  • Business registration details (where provided)
  • Storefront content (product listings, images, prices, descriptions)
  • Login/account credentials
  • Usage data (how the Merchant interacts with the dashboard/platform)

2.2 From Buyers/Visitors

Because buyers are directed to WhatsApp to complete orders, Mallfront typically does not collect buyer personal data such as names, phone numbers, addresses, or payment details. Any information a buyer shares to complete an order is shared directly with the Merchant via WhatsApp, and is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy practices and the Merchant's own data practices — not this policy.

We may still collect limited, non-identifying technical data from all visitors, such as:

  • Device/browser type
  • General analytics (e.g. pages viewed, storefronts visited)
  • Cookies or similar tracking technologies (where used)

2.3 What We Do NOT Collect

  • Payment card or bank details (payments happen directly between Merchant and buyer, outside the Mallfront platform)
  • Buyer order history or delivery addresses (these live in WhatsApp conversations between Merchant and buyer)

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage Merchant accounts and storefronts
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Mallfront platform
  • Communicate with Merchants about their account, updates, or support
  • Analyze aggregate usage trends to improve the product
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell Merchant or visitor data to third parties.

4. How Information Is Shared

We may share information with:

  • Service providers — who help us run the platform (e.g. hosting, analytics), under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal authorities — where required by law or to protect Mallfront's legal rights.
  • Successors — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.

We do not share Merchant account data with other Merchants or unrelated third parties for marketing purposes without consent.

5. Buyer Data Disclaimer

Because buyer-Merchant communication and transactions occur directly via WhatsApp, outside the Mallfront platform:

  • Mallfront has no visibility into, control over, or responsibility for how Merchants collect, use, or store buyer data shared during a WhatsApp conversation.
  • Buyers should review the Merchant's own privacy practices, where available, before sharing personal information.
  • Buyers' use of WhatsApp is separately governed by WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain Merchant account data for as long as the account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, or security obligations. Merchants may request account and data deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Merchant data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (including the NDPA 2023), Merchants have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about them
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of their account and associated data
  • Withdraw consent to certain data processing, where consent is the basis for processing

To exercise these rights, contact us at mallftapp@gmail.com.

9. Cookies

Mallfront may use cookies or similar technologies to improve platform functionality and understand usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Children's Privacy

Mallfront is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us to have it removed.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to Merchants via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Mallfront after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
